KEY ISSUES IN 2014

TO BE HELD ON OCTOBER 21ST AT 7:00PM AT BCAS
COME SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR DOMINIC MARANO

KEY ISSUE 1: TAXES & DEBT
Controlling Taxes and Debt Management through careful spending, clear priorities, and good leadership.

KEY ISSUE 2: OPEN SPACE
We need to carefully manage the fnal use of our funds, of which $39 of the $44 Million have already been spent. We need to now focus on properties that pose the most risk to the goals the voters approved. Although successful, we cannot afford more Open Space Bonds.

KEY ISSUE 3: DEER MANAGEMENT
Deer Management threatens to become a major budget, environmental, safety, and health issue again. Last time we addressed this we spent hundreds of thousands of dollars for Paid Hunting. We need a better and consistent plan that controls population, costs, and responsibilities for this sensitive issue.

KEY ISSUE 4: WATERSHED PROTECTION
With the Fracking moratorium in Bucks County expiring, test drilling starting, and drilling along the Delaware River a possibility, we need to investigate what local steps may be needed. I will call for a Solebury Working Group to begin investigating this important topic in 2014.
